I'm an all-around animal lover who grew up with black labs and cats in the family and would be thrilled to take care of your pup (and cats and fish and tortoises and... ) while you're away. I've been pet sitting on and off for 10+ years for pets big and small, young and old. These days, I own and operate my own farm where I raise all kinds of crops and animals for market. My life revolves around the livestock and beings in my care, and I'd extend that attention and thoughtfulness to include your special animals. "Day-care" on the farm is not listed but could be an option for the right fit.

Emma stayed at our house for a full week and took GREAT care of our two dogs and the house. Emma was very reliable and provided great communication. If our dogs could speak, I'm sure they would say they had a great time. Highly recommend Emma to care for your dogs. A++++++

We have 3 dogs, Salma (7 yr old Shar Pei), Frankie (2 yr old Labradoodle), & Winston (7 month old Goldendoodle. I am always so nervous to leave our fur babies, but Emma was willing to spend the night in our home, and it put our minds at such ease knowing the dogs were being cared for in the comfort of their own home. We were able to enjoy ourselves without worry, and returned home to a nice clean house, and very happy puppies. We highly recommended Emma, and look forward to using her during future trips. Emma took wonderful care of my roommate's cat, Jack, and dog, Maya, this past summer--they warmed up to her immediately as if she was a long lost friend and couldn't get enough of her. Emma's joy in caring for living things is evident in her passion for farming and gardening. It is a joy to watch her nurture her crops and truly care about the living things under her responsibility. I would definitely recommend her to anyone seeking petsitting services as a responsible, professional, and dependable caretaker.

From there, and with your recommendations, I'm wide open - long walks in the park, playing in the back yard, loafing on the couch, etc. etc. - I'm in.

Please disclose any health, disability, or medication needs up front if you feel comfortable. Any breed welcome but I don't have much experience working with very aggressive dogs.
A typical day
If opportunity allows, and with the right dog, I'd love to take your pup out to explore my farm in West Eugene. There they will get to explore 18 acres of pasture and garden space, sniff out the chickens, ducks, pigs and donkey, and run to their heart's content. Otherwise, I'm always looking to explore new trails and revisit old favorites. I think getting outside is the best way to our time.

As a self-employed person, my schedule is relatively flexible, which means more time to devote to Rover care. In most cases, I will be able to work my routine to fit around yours.
