My mom has always told me that I have a "way with animals". I establish a connection with them so they feel comfortable around me. I want dogs (and/or cats) to get excited when they see me! If they are skittish, I try my best to be as comforting as possible. I have been pet sitting/dog walking for many years now and I genuinely love doing it. I love being around any animal; it's therapeutic for me! I have references to provide if required. When it comes to pet/house sitting for a period of time, I have experience staying for up to two weeks. I can do any amount of time though! I have also done plenty of daytime visits and walks. When I walk someone's dog, I ask how long they would like for me to walk them for. If it's an older dog, I don't want to over-walk them and tire them out too much, so I always make sure to ask. I have a large field/recreational area across the street from my house that I see many of my neighbors talking their pets to!!
