Since I got my first babysitting gig at 13, I’ve worked all sorts of jobs. Barista, lifeguard, personal assistant, parking attendant, you name it. But one of my most consistent and enjoyable jobs has been petsitting. I’ve been working with animals for over 12 years both on and off Rover. After one booking where I had to force feed a German Shepard his meds everything else feels like a breeze.

Emma was a wonderful cat sitter to our little buddy Desi! She was very enthusiastic and responsive to our messages, and provided updates and photos. We were very glad to leave Desi in her care and would love to have her back any time!
Emma is such an amazing pet sitter. She took amazing care of my bunnies for 10 days and they of course, immediately warmed up to her more than any one else i’ve had! she also very thoughtfully sent pictures every day without asking and provided updates via text. I felt so grateful to have her taking care of my buns!

Emma was fantastic at taking care of our two cats! We needed someone in a pinch and she was able to help and we're so grateful. She gave our older cat medicine even with him being fussy, and was super communicative about how they were doing and all updates. Emma told us when she was planning on going and any schedule changes and was right on time. We felt very reassured that our babies were taken care of and in good hands!

My Services: Currently, I provide boarding, housesitting, drop-in visits, and walks. When it comes to boarding, I will take up to two cats from the same family and never take on pets from different families. Please note that I have a cat so your cat(s) MUST be friendly with others. If you’d prefer drop-ins for your dogs while you’re out of town (aka I will be the only one checking on them), I require a minimum of 3 visits per day.

When it comes to your pets, let me know their daily routine, any medications they’re on, how they do with other animals, and any other important details like their favorite toys, any commands you’ve taught them, etc.
A typical day
Caring For Your Pets: I require a meet & greet visit before confirming a booking with a new client. Meet & greets are complimentary, tend to be 15-20 minutes long, and take place wherever I will be providing care (my home for boarding, your home for any other services). If you think you’ll need more than 20 minutes, request a drop-in visit and let me know it’s for a meet & greet. During our booking I will send at least one update a day but am happy to regularly send as many as requested. Leaving your pets can be incredibly stressful so I want to make sure both you and your pets feel comfortable! Also, one of my hobbies is film photography so odds are you’ll receive some cute photos of your pets when the booking is over.

Availability
My Schedule: My primary job is as a Writers’ Assistant but currently I’m between gigs so am home full-time during the week. That means I can be completely available to your pets and check on them at least every 2-4 hours. If your anxious pets (I see you, pandemic puppies) need constant care while you go out of town or just into the office, let me know and I’ll see what I can do. It may not be possible but I always do my best! No matter what, your pets will get all the love and attention they need.
