As someone who has spent years in pet care, caring for dogs, cats, and horses I know how important your pet is to you (because I know how important my animals have been to me!) and will provide your dog or cat with love, care, and attention. I have been pet sitting and caring for my own animals for fifteen years. I have experience with dogs at all stages of life from 3 months old puppies to 16 years old senior dogs. I currently have a 3 year old rescue mutt who I have been working with to rehabilitate, socialize, and master basic and advanced obedience. He is the love of my life and it has been such a rewarding experience to watch him learn and become more confident. Growing up I was primarily responsible for my family dog, a Wheaten terrier, and our family cat who I initially agreed to foster, fell in love, and eventually adopted. I also trained horses and taught horseback riding lessons all throughout high school and college so I am not intimidated by much!

I would like to know their training history. What age is the dog? Do they have any allergies or chronic medical conditions? Do they walk well on a leash? How do they get along with other dogs? Are they house trained? How often do they need to go for a walk and how long is a typical walk?
A typical day
I am an active, fun loving, and patient pet person. I love to take dogs to the park, play in the backyard or with toys, and provide enrichment activities for dogs based on their interests and energy level! Additionally, I am working towards becoming a professional dog trainer and am currently offering basic training sessions free with any doggie day care or boarding stay! We can discuss some goals you have for your dog and training can take place during their stay, or separately with you there to participate (free of charge!)
