Having grown up on a farm, I have had experience with many different animals, and have loved dogs since I can remember! I love all kinds of animals and have experience with all sorts of temperaments. I have been personally pet sitting for neighbors and friends for the better part of 10 years. I will take your dogs on structured walks where they will learn basic manners and how to behave on leash. I also can take your dog on jogs or other forms of exercise, as I am a very active person. I have basic experience with special needs animals as well, and can administer meds, change wrappings, etc. There is not much that I do not have experience doing, or that I am unwilling to do! I am a student at UCSB, and since classes are online, I am home most of the day. I live locally in Isla Vista, and can travel anywhere in the IV/Goleta area. I am available for both short term and long term pet care, from potty breaks to weekend pet sitting! My schedule is very flexible. Currently, my longest pet stay to date is 12 days. I have a quiet, large, 2-person household. The front yard is unfenced, but has room for playing. I have access to several small parks nearby, as well as being only a 3 minute walk from a beach with relatively low traffic. My housemate and I love animals, so your fur baby will be sure to get lots of attention! There are no other pets in the household. In general, dogs being boarded overnight will go on at least 4-6 walks a day, including potty breaks and play time. I try to keep your dog as engaged and happy as possible. In between walks and potty breaks, we will lounge around on the couch while I do school work! During walks, I will help your dog release some of their energy, by playing, running, etc. Your dog will be sure to get lots of attention and exercise, and will never be left alone for more than 1-2 hours.
