When I first met Emma, I was introduced to Stella, her french bulldog, first. Stella was wrapped in a pink blanket, securely fastened in her pink padded harness, and asleep in Emma's arms. I had never seen a dog and owner mesh/connect with each other so well. In addition to loving Stella as a mother would love and care for her baby, she knows how to lay down the law. When Stella misbehaves, Emma makes sure she knows it. However, she does not punish her in a cruel way. Knowing Emma, I can honestly say that she has read all the dog manuals, checked all the ingredients in the food she feeds Stella, has the most comfortable dog harness, and indeed thrives to be the best mother she can possibly be.
