Growing up in the country side I’ve been around animals for my whole life, having moved to Belfast in August I’ve been really missing the company of furry friends. My family and I have always had dogs and I also had some horses when I was younger too. 😊 Our dogs have always been treated as part of our family, where we go they come with us, as we always say you can’t be unhappy in the company of a furry friend! In terms of experience, this summer I spent 3 weeks house sitting & pet sitting an adorable cockapoo in Valencia! I’ve also looked after my family and friends pets countless times

Emma and James also kindly accommodated a late night pick up which we were very grateful for! Emma and James were really great pet sitters. We have two little fur babies with Henri being a bit more anxious and unsettled with people. Emma went over and above to settle him in and won him over in the end!! Henri and Coco thoroughly enjoyed their stay. I left Finty with Emma for doggy day care on Saturday and was very pleased with her service! Her home is dog friendly and she was so good with him! Left off a hyper dog, picked up a chilled and happy pup. Would recommend Emma and use her services again!
Emma and James looked after my 10yr old Chihuahua Pablo for 2 weeks and I was so happy I found them. Pablo has some complex medical needs and Emma handled them all easily, kept my wee bubu thoroughly snuggled, safe and well looked after as well as sent me regular photos and videos which I really appreciated. I recommend Emma fully as a lovely competent dog sitter.

I live in a 2 bed apartment with my partner. We have a spare room which your pet can sleep in if they prefer their own space or else they can sleep in our open plan living space. We don’t have a garden but live very close to the botanical garden and Lagan meadows, so free space certainly won’t be an issue!

Information Emma D. would like to know about your pet
It would be great to know about any unusual behaviours your dog might have! Also his/her preferred feeding times/ preferred time to go walking etc. I'm pretty flexible and want to make sure your dog is as comfortable as possible when he/she is on their holidays with me :)
A typical day
I usually wake up around 7am so first things first would be going out with your pet for a toilet break and a short walk. We would then come back and I would either do some yoga or some meditation, then we would have some breakfast together! (depending on your dogs preferred schedule. I work 9-5 from home (except for two days a week when I go into the office) I can head out for two toilet breaks at 11 and 3.30. However, at lunch I usually go to the park for a stroll and a coffee, this would be a great time for your dog and I to play fetch! Once I'm finished at 5 we would probably have a little play together while I have a cup of tea and then we would head out on another longer walk together. Once we're home we would get some dinner and have some cuddles on the couch together :)

I work full time but I only have to go into the office twice a week, luckily I can choose which days I need to go in too so I’ll happily work that around your schedule! :) if you need a week long sitter during the week, my partner works fully from home so your pet will never be left along! when I’m working from home I go out for 2-3 walks for myself every day to get some fresh air. I would only love to have some company while heading out.
