Follow my Instagram to get some insight into what your dogs stay will be like! @thedogsittercle I have been a dog lover my whole life and have owned and taken care of ALOT of dogs since I was 12. I have experience with large dogs (boxers, golden retrievers, shepards, etc) and I also have experience with smaller dogs (shit tzus, french bulldogs, maltese's etc). What sets me apart from other sitters/walkers is that I treat your pup like they are my own. I love snuggling with your pup and spoiling them with lots of playtime, cuddles, and walks. I live with my husband, Joe, who is an even bigger dog lover than me and would be around to entertain your pup as well! I live in Westlake with a big yard with lots of room for your pup to run! I love helping owners who are looking to better train their pets as well. I have had experience helping medium to larger dogs with leash training. I also am very educated on multiple breeds and I know their different behaviors. I used to read about all the different breeds when I was little and I have seen the differences first hand, so I know how to cater to your specific dog! I do have a few requirements however when it comes to having your dog in my home. 1. Crate trained dogs are required, but I may make exceptions for senior dogs. The reason for this is for safety. Your dog will need to be ok with being crated when we have to leave the home and at bed time. Due to taking care of multiple dogs and having my own, I do not let pups sleep in the bedroom. 2. Your dog must get along with other dogs - I am likely to have other dogs at the house at the same time whether it is daycare or boarding. If you prefer no other dog besides mine to be present, please include this in your message. 3. Your dog must be house trained 4. Your dog must have basic obedience training (sit, stay, down and come unless they are 6 months old or younger) I do like to meet all dogs before accepting a sitting opportunity. This is to make sure not only that your dog is a good fit for my home, but that my dog will respect yours as well and that you feel comfortable. We have a 3 yr old corgi named Norman who would be here as well. He will play if your pup wants to play but will also give them their space when needed. We always make sure to separate the pets when it is feeding time for maximum safety. Overall, I am a huge dog lover with a soft spot for all breeds! Your dog would be in great hands if you chose me to watch them! We are very flexible so your pet will get all the attention they deserve! I have a fenced yard, so your dog will get frequent potty breaks. I also make sure to supervise playtime and keep large dogs and smaller dogs separated. Each dog will get plenty of playtime and rest throughout the day.
