A home from home experience (but on a farm!)
Pet care experience
Your precious family member would be coming to stay with us on our farm that has been in our family for over 30 years. We moved here when I was only 2 years old. We have been raising and caring for animals for over 20 years, including our sheepdog (yes, Lassie was her name) - who is sadly no longer with us but lived to age 18! My husband and I now have a beautiful black Labrador named Harper (featured in our profile photo) aged 9.5 years - I think there’s something in the air on the farm because when you meet him you’d think he was a youngster (it’s only the grey beard that gives it away). Harper is used to company. My sister has a Yorkie cross and a long-haired chihuahua and my brother has a German Shepherd. Harper has grown up around many other dogs of all sizes and he loves the company! The three of us (my husband, Harper and I) live in a converted single-story barn. Your dog would be staying with us in our home and would enjoy plenty of countryside walks and field-play.
Reviews
Emma and Josh look after my Chihuahua, Charlie, on a regular basis. Emma always gives me regular updates on how Charlie is getting on and sends me pictures which helps put me at ease. Charlie always has a great time and gets very excited when he sees them both. I wouldn’t trust anyone else with my baby! Would highly recommend.

Safety, trust & environment
Outside of the barn, we have fenced grounds. If you prefer to have your dog crated at night, do let us know and we can accommodate that. We are really flexible and can mimic the environment that your dog is used to at home, if that is what you would like us to do.
Home
Information Emma C. would like to know about your pet
With any home from home experience comes maintaining routines. Dogs are so finely tuned to the their human’s and their usual routine, so they will find a lot of comfort when staying elsewhere if their routine can be maintained. Please let us know your dogs routine, likes and dislikes in advance so that we can accommodate this during any stay with us.
A typical day
During the weekends we like to explore, whether that be around the countryside or elsewhere. We live on a 44-acre farm with lots of open space. We also also very lucky to live in a secluded part of the valley surrounded by woodlands, footpaths and bridleways, all on our door step. Often we will walk down to the local village or pack up the car and head down to the beach.
