Pet care experience
Having my own dog, I know how important it is to pick a sitter who you can trust in taking care of your pet. It’s worrisome to have your pet in someone else’s hands (literally) and feel uneasy hoping they’re always safe, monitored, or that their specific personality (running off and chasing animals) is taken into account when being cared for! I want to help take that stress of them possibly not being in good hands away, since I know it doesn’t feel good! I’ve used a few different sitters for my own dog on rover before, and I liked the ones who sent me pictures/videos throughout his stay and kept me in the loop! If anything I send way too many of those, but I’d rather send too many than not enough! I understand body language of cats and dogs and pick up on their either positive or negative, stabilized or shifted, energy. I understand that some pets may have more behavioral challenges (like my dog) and may be weary of people or animals or things they are generally uncertain with. I take that Into consideration with each pet I work with.
Reviews
Emma was great with Tully! Tully was clearly happy and definitely had a great time. The pictures were awesome and I would definitely rebook with Emma again!
Emma was fantastic with our dog Cammie- she was great with providing updates and I know that our dog was well cared for. I would highly recommend Emma!
Highly recommend Emma! She took care of our goldendoodle Watson for 5 nights and I could tell that my dog had a wonderful time. Emma sent pictures and/or videos daily and updated me on how and what he was doing. She took Watson to nearby parks for walks and play as well! Emma is a true animal lover and has the kind heart. She is responsive, flexible and I love that she was home with my dog.
As someone who has known Emma for 10 years, I can confidently say that she has always been an animal lover. For as long as I've known her, Emma has had a special place in her heart for all animals. Her family dog was just that -- family. If I ever needed someone to take care of a pet I would trust Emma because I know she would love and respect my pet as her own. Animals are a true passion for her; I'm sure she would take care of every dog if she could!

I like to know what each pet owner wants and needs for their animals unique level or style of care. Although I have experience with pet care, I still see it as important to take each individual pets needs into consideration! That’s what I would want for my own dog while being taken care of by Rover sitter, so I’d like to give it to my clients! Examples of things I’ve been asked to do that I’m comfortable with doing in your homes, if requested: -feeding fish -cleaning kitty box -getting the mail -bringing a package in -bringing clothes in on the lines before it rains -bringing outdoor furniture pillows inside
Information Emma B. would like to know about your pet
I travel using a bussing program due to my neurological disability, making it important that I am booked at least one day prior to a desired visit, so that I can schedule my pick up and drop offs to your home!
A typical day
Each pet has different likes and dislikes and cute little quirks that make each stay/visit extremely pleasing to me. With that, I like to cater to the dog and owners requests. Your dog loves going out for a walk at exactly 7:03am? Then you better believe I’m shutting the door behind us at 7:03am! Your dog or cat loves belly rubs only going in a counter clockwise direction? Then you bet we are going counterclockwise! I welcome inside info of that nature because I want your pets to be as comfortable as possible while they’re in my care!

I started working for Rover in 2018 after developing a neurological disorder that made it challenging to work a “normal” job. I did that for a year and then had a steady job for a few years after my health stabilized. I am back in a challenging spot with my health, so here I am back on Rover for a full time position!
