Pet care experience
I always had dogs growing up and just recently got my first puppy! As a young professional (and dog-lover), I’m always seeking opportunities to make a little extra money while keeping my pup happy. That’s why I’m here! I am a patient and caring person. Communication is a strong suit of mine, so if you’re mid-vacation and missing your fur-babies, trust that I am extremely responsive with all of the photos and updates you need and more! My puppy, Stoli, and I are very serious about training! Due to COVID-19, we haven’t taken any official classes but I’ve read books and watched hours of online videos. I’d happily reinforce any behaviors or training techniques you are trying with your pups too!
Reviews
Was so happy to have Emma stay and take care of my pup. She sent photos and updates throughout which helped me feel comfortable enjoying my time away. Would happily book again!
Emma was great! Very responsive and flexible, and our dogs were immediately comfortable with her.
Emma is amazing! Very considerate and attentive!!!
Emma was a great addition to dog sitting. She was prompt and left regular photos an updated while I was out of town. Definitely would recommend her.

I am currently in a rental situation in which I am unable to board, unfortunately. However, I am willing to stay at your place if possible! I know this is a bit of a caveat as I now have my own pup and would require a meet and greet. Many dogs prefer their own environments but I understand being a bit territorial as well. As long as you think your pups will be ok with a visitor—Stoli adjusts quickly and typically follows the lead of older dogs. We’ve gone to the lake with three other pups and often stay at my boyfriends apartment (who also has a dog). When able and permitted by the owner, I absolutely love taking dogs out to local parks and hiking spots- Castlewood is my favorite! I even keep an extra water bowl and water bottles in my car for impromptu trips with friends pets.

No breed preferences at all—my boyfriend has a pit mix that’s the biggest softie. I’m comfortable with big and/or strong dogs. The main thing I want to know before sitting is how they react to other dogs. Are they leash reactive? Will they pull if we see another pup? What’s the best way to distract them and reinforce good behavior for them?

I’m currently working full-time at Washington University. With the pandemic, I am currently working from home. When I return to the office, I will be away between 8:00am-5:30pm. However, I do have an hour lunch break available if you live reasonably close and we make prior arrangements.
