Pet care experience
My first dog was a golden retriever and we got her when I was around 5, we had her up until my Freshman year of high school. After her I had a shelter pup and another golden. As of right now I do not have a dog because I live in an apartment and cannot afford a dog at the moment but I will be getting one in the near future. When my sister goes out of town, I always dog sit and/or house sit for her. I also dog sat for a friend of mine who was out of town for a week who had 2 dogs and a cat. I have dog sat all types of dogs. I have very little experience with giving dogs injected medicine and special needs dogs but am willing to learn. I am very familiar with giving animals oral medication and am familiar with working with older dogs.

Emma was great with my pupper! I got picture and videos every day and when I got back the house was exactly like I left it! I would highly recommend Emma for any of your pet needs. I knew my fur baby was in loving hands when I left!
Emma is great with my 2 dogs and 2 cats. She stayed over every night we asked, fed them on a daily basis, made sure their water was good, took them on walks on the local YMCA paths and around the housing addition, and gave them all the snuggles. We came home to happy animals and the house looking like it did when we left! We highly recommend her, she is wonderful!
Do NOT hire this gal. She is a total fraud! We found out from our neighbors that she stopped by once a day ... Yes...once in 24 hours to let them out. They were rushed back in quickly. Not only did we pay her to stay at our house, we bought food for her, which she took home. She never even brought a suitcase. My heart is breaking for my dogs. There was way too much food left so I doubt they were properly fed. Or watered. She said she works at a vet clinic. I will call them tomorrow and let them know she neglected our dogs. She has NO business even working around animals. I repeat....DO NOT HIRE THIS GAL. I WILL ALSO BE CONTACTING ROVER.COM SO NO OTHER PET OWNERS WILL EVER HAVE THEIR PETS MISTREATED AND NEGLECTED. If she does not return our money, we will be pursuing her legally. She should not be in charge of caring for even a chia pet.
We love Emma! She is great with our dog and cat. She is quick to respond to messages and is easy to communicate with. We highly recommended her.

A typical day
I love to take walks with dogs so they can not only get their energy out but they can also smell all the new smells. I love to play ball and to help stimulate their brains while I’m there.

I currently work at Valparaiso University and am about to be off for the summer so I have that free time to dogsit and cat sit. Other than that I go back to the University in August and have some on and off summer work that I can inform you of once I know it.
