Pet care experience
I have experience watching and walking a wide range of dogs -- from Maybellene (pit bull/bull dog mix), to Sully (greyhound/lab mix, 9 y.o.), to Lola & Lemi (schnoodle sisters, 3 y.o.), and my family dog Edie (lab/dachshund mix, 6 y.o.). Besides my family dog, all these dogs were city dogs so I'm confident walking dogs around New York City. It's actually one of my favorite things to do. I love taking long walks around the city (Sully & I were even featured on a pet website during one of our long walks!) and taking trips to the nearby dog parks (Lemi & Lola love Thompkins Square Park!). I also have my own dog (Monie, a 2.5yo pit/staffy mix). I also have experience watching cats! I've done both drop-in visits and house-sitting visits with cats ranging from a months-old foster kitten to a one-year-old playful kitty to a mature feline.

Emily was great with our kitty! She was kind and caring and kitty clearly settled into the routine after a few days. Emily also sent lots of photos and a daily summary of what she took care of. Would definitely recommend.

A typical day
I'm attentive to each dog's needs and the owner's requests. Every dog is different and requires different needs. I've watched dogs with strict dietary needs and dogs that require a lot of attention. I love taking dogs on long walks and visiting dog parks (if the dog is OK with this).
