Dogs are such special, loving animals manifested in so many different barking, woofing, howling personalities. I have cared for dogs my whole life, and I recently graduated with a degree in biology and a plan to attend veterinary school in the coming years. I'm an outdoor person, and I spend the majority of my day playing in the woods with my own kelpie-terrier mix, Rue. For years, I have been a dog-sitter for neighbors and friends, respecting the space they have given me in their homes while providing their pups with close attention and love. I have worked regularly as a dog-walker throughout college, and I love the opportunity to get outside while providing dogs much-needed exercise. I also have completed an internship at a humane society veterinary hospital in Oregon, where I gained experience treating, feeding, and cleaning after shelter animals before they found their forever homes.
