Pet care experience
I've owned a dog for the past 12 years, a maltese named Shu Shu. She sadly passed last year after 15 beautiful years of life. In her older age, she had many health problems and I administered 3 medications to her twice daily, so that’s something I am comfortable with. I love dogs of all shapes and sizes and personalities. Honestly, fewer things bring me more joy than a playful pup! I have a lot of energy and patience for dogs and would love to take care of your furry friend while you are away. I won't just walk your dog or ignore him/her, but I will really put in the effort to play with them and make sure they are getting the love and attention they need to be happy and healthy. I'll be sure to send pictures/videos of your baby!! 😊

Emily was great! We felt comfortable with her immediately after our meet and greet. She was extremely flexible with drop off and pickup. We absolutely loved how she updated up throughout the weekend and sent us pictures of how he was doing. Carter can be a very shy dog, and we could tell that he was comfortable there. We definitely recommend her and will be calling her again!

Though I no longer board dogs, as my lease doesn’t allow for it, I am happy to come care for your pets in the home they are already comfortable in. I make sure to understand their daily routines and stick to it. I love cuddling with dogs and playing all day, I usually let them sleep on the bed with me if they are used to that as well.

I would like to know whether a dog is shy or personable before sitting him or her, so that I can best prepare to spend time with him or her and can cater activities so that he/she is comfortable. I have no breed preferences.
A typical day
I’m a few blocks SW of Columbus Cir., so I’m right there next to the park! I’ve noticed some pet owners will let their dogs off leash in one area, so if your pup is well trained enough not to run off, we could get some play time in with other pups! If not social, I can definitely keep them by my side as we walk around.

Availability
I work in the restaurant industry in the evenings, so I have morning and early afternoon availability. I live on 150th St and can definitely take your dog on some long walks!
