Your Pet's Staycation Home
Pet care experience
As a pet owner who has been in this situation before, I know how challenging it can be to find someone to take care of your pets while you are away, as well as how important it is to leave them with someone you can trust! I am opening my home to such pet owners, as I've been fortunate to have others do the same for my dog! I've been caring for animals since I was young which prompted my volunteering at a local animal shelter (of which some of my volunteer work followed me home). Since then, I have owned multiple working dogs (border collie, pit bull, lab) and have shared my home with multiple cats. Presently my home is shared with my doberman and two kitties. I have taken the time to learn how to train and work with dogs, having gone through multiple pet training sessions with each of my dogs. So if you are looking for a place for your fur-baby to enjoy, this is the staycation home you are looking for!

Emily was amazing with our dog Bailey. We were very nervous about leaving our dog with a stranger as she is over 17 years old and has many special needs. Emily asked all the right questions and quickly put our minds at ease. She also set up a meet and greet, which helped alleviate our concerns. The pick up and drop off went beyond smoothly. Emily provided regular updates and took some amazing photos of our dog as well. Emily took care of our dog as if it was her own. We would definitely use Emily again and highly recommend her to anyone who needs any of the services provided here.
Emily was an outstanding host for my pet Jaxx during his extended March break stay. She kept us informed regularly and sent us photos daily. Jaxx has become good friends with Harley and her two cats. Thank you Emily for taking such good care of our little boy. Glad I found you!
This was my first time using a sitter and Emily made my experience less stressful. I was so happy with how everything went, from the meet and greet to the pick up. I got picture updates start to finish!!!

I have a fenced yard, as well as a friendly dog to keep your fur baby company. Additionally, as my dog was crate trained, there is also a large crate on residence. My home includes a minimum 2 doggy beds (obviously in addition to the couch) as well as three kitty scratchers, as cats are also welcome! Additionally, my partner is also available for furry scratches and brushing!

A typical day
We will definitely be walking and playing as a happy dog is an active dog! There will also be lots of cuddles, because that is what pets are best for!

Availability
I am a teacher so my availability follows my school schedule. During school holidays, my days are free to spoil your pet, however, during the school year, there will be some day time where your pet would be on their own. To account for that, they would partake in a morning walk/doggy play session with my dog, so that they can then use the alone time to sleep! My dog is walked a minimum 2 times a day, has access to the backyard, and we regularly visit the dog park and and go on runs, because that makes her happy, of which your pet would have the same options.
