Pet care experience
I am a dog lover and people helper. I grew up with pets and now care for a pug mix, a cat and I am the mom of two human puppies (5th and 1st grade). I am reliable, communicative, creative and nurturing. I enjoy walking my dog and playing with him, and would love to do that for your pets too! I will work very hard to care for your dogs as well as you would. I also work as a birth and postpartum doula, which is somebody who helps and coaches pregnant moms during childbirth and in the month following a birth. I have a background in education and taught middle school and high school for 15 years in NYC and NJ, so caring for others is an important part of who I am and what I do.

Emily is a warm, caring and very realiable person . She has been caring for my dogs for the past 7 years . At first she cared for my dog who has since passed. She had health issues and had to be taken out during the day . Since I work I wasn’t able to care for her during the day like I would have wanted. Emily kept her company, gave her walks, and also administered her pills she needed . Having Emily there to care and love her gave me such peace of mind . She was always there when she said she would be and always kept me updated on things . A few years ago I felt it was time to welcome a new puppy into my life . Emily was there to walk him during the day and help keep him on a regular schedule. This has helped him house train quicker . I am so lucky to have found her !! She is now a part of our family and my dog just adores her . I highly recommend her to all my friends and family.
Emily is a warm and playful kid AND pet mommy herself and would take excellent care of any dog she had the opportunity to sit for. She has cared for my pets and is very responsible. Emily sends me pictures of my pets when I'm away and she's watching them and I get regular updates on how they're doing, which I really appreciate. I trust her in my home and with my pets. You'll love her!

I will explore your neighborhood and parks. If there are nearby dog parks, I am happy to take the dog for some playtime if the owner approves. With my own dog, I play toss and fetch, tug-of-war and hide-and-seek with his favorite toys.
