Pet care experience
I have always adored animals - and my time working as a pet sitter and dog walker has only strengthened that love. Prior to offering my services on Rover, I worked for a fantastic Kitchener-Waterloo company (TuxedoMutt) as both a dog sitter and walker for 2 years, before the company transitioned to focus on training. Open to pets of all ages and sizes, I live close to many great parks & trails for the more rambunctious pups, but also love curling up on the couch for the more relaxed pets. I also have a small SUV for the car-ride enthusiasts (or in the case of emergencies, of course, even if that is only to buy more treats after a short supply!). I have a flexible schedule, and while I do not currently offer pet sitting from our home, I am happy to travel to you within Waterloo Region! I treat my clients as I would my own beloved dog. I use positive-reinforcement training techniques only and I have experience with anxious/fearful pets. I am more than happy to discuss any special needs your animal may have to make sure their stay with me is as comfortable and fun as possible! *PLEASE NOTE*: I do not conduct walks with tools such as prong, choke, or shock collars. If you use these tools with your pets please message me before booking and we can discuss how I can work with your dog to make their stay as safe and enjoyable for us both!

Simply the best!
Emily is a fantastic walker and sitter! She is very responsive, a great communicator during her visits and provides detailed overviews of how her walk/sitting went. We really appreciate her experience dealing with leash reactive dogs and that from the onset of meeting Boscoe she was sure to reinforce positive behaviours we're trying to train him on. Will continue to use Emily and would highly recommend her to others!
Emily is amazing!!!! I was a little anxious leaving my pup for the first time for 3 days but Emily sent me pics and videos and updates of her and I was at ease instantly. I could tell from the pics that Sydney was happy and being well loved! We appreciate Emily so much and have her booked again already.
Emily visited our beagle boy Bagel, to give him a midday break and did a great job! We were filled in on how the visit went and got a lot of adorable photos which we loved. Thanks so much Emily we look forward to reaching out to you again.
