Love to walk & give out belly rubs

Pet care experience

Hi, my name is Emily. I started working with Rover in 2017 after my husband and I lost our 11 year old boxer. Our home was empty and we had so much doggy love to give!! Now our house is full with two young boys and an adopted senior pup. I work as a part time flight attendant and looking to fill my off days with dog walking! My kids are in camp from 9-5 so I’m happy to help during those hours and have possible availability to stop by in the evenings. I grew up with small dogs, have owned a 90lb boxer, currently have a 10 year old 70lb pup and have dog sat for labs, hounds, blue healers and different pit mixes so I am comfortable with all types of dogs. I am happy to take your pup on leash walks as well as fill up water and food bowls or just stop by for additional potty breaks if you’re away for an extended period of time. Please reach out and let me know how I can help out!

Emily is fantastic! She has experience with rescue dogs and is incredible and patient with my sweet but high energy boxer/pittie/lab mix rescue who is still working on basic training. If you’re nervous about trusting a sitter with your rescue dog, or need someone experienced with “bully” breeds, look no further.

Emily was amazing with our boxer. He went on a ton of walks and made himself right at home with her and her family. She was understanding of his “always a puppy at heart” personality and even his leg injury. When he encountered other dogs she knew just how to handle him and we would be honored to have her watch him again whenever we go out of town. Thanks Emily for loving him like he was your own. I can tell he misses you and that he had a great time. He slept the entire day away dreaming and running in his sleep the day we got him home.

Emily took such great care of my dog, Riley, and was an excellent communicator while I was booking my dogs daycare. You can tell Emily is great with dogs and I could see from pictures that my dog was comfortable and having so much fun with her. She walked Riley throughout the day and even took her to a park to play and run with other dogs. I would highly recommend Emily as a dog sitter and would definitely re-book with her in the future.

Max had a great weekend stay with Emily and her family! They have a great fenced in backyard for playing, she took Max on a couple of walks a day which she really loves. They had another puppy visit and they played a lot. Maxes happy and exhausted when I got him home. I would definitely recommend Emily. She knows a lot about dogs and really loves having them in her home

A typical day

I love to walk and explore new areas. I’m happy to do neighborhood walks or bring your dog to a local park like Cabot woods or Cutler Park. I prefer to walk dogs on leash but depending on the dog and their training Id be willing to go to off leash trails.

I am a part time flight attendant and have taken most of the summer off to avoid the Sumner Tunnel closure chaos. This means I have a lot of Flex Time to help with your pups! I have two kids in camp from 9-5. Ideal schedule is walks between those times. However if you need in home dog sitting, please ask! I may be able to help.
