Pet care experience
I have been taking care of animals of all kinds for almost my whole life. Currently, I have three dogs, a cat, and a snake! I hold a bachelor's degree in animal science and have been working one on one with dogs since 2018. I have worked on training, handling, and simple grooming services (baths, nail trims, ear cleaning). I am currently a handler for a dog daycare and am working towards becoming a dog trainer, specifically for puppies and younger dogs! I also hold a passion for felines and small critters like snakes, lizards, and rodents!

Emily was great with our big boy! We rarely leave him and we felt comfortable with him in her hands. She is very responsive and sent plenty of pics. Definitely recommend and will use again!
Emily has taken care of both my cat and my rabbit before. I can't think of someone who would take better care of my animals when I'm not there. She made sure that their spaces were clean and they always had food and water available. She is very attentive and spends a great deal of time playing and engaging with the animals. Additionally, she is very knowledgable about enrichment activities to keep my animals entertained. Emily is very passionate about animals and it is clear in all of the work she does.
Emily is a very responsible mature young adult who cares deeply for the well being of all animals. She is very trust worthy and a hard worker.

In a clients home, should that be appropriate, I will always respect boundaries and limitations. I will treat your fur baby like one of my own and keep them constant company while they are in my care. I can provide constant communication and pictures when the animal is with me if desired! I can do crating or free roam for the night!

Please let me know if your dog is spayed/neutered or intact, has any reactivity regarding walks, strangers, or other dogs (this will not impact anything it's just great to know!), if your dog walks on a flat collar, prong collar, e-collar, or harness, if they have any allergies or sensitivities, and any special things they ESPECIALLY love to do!
A typical day
A typical day will start with basic routine that the dog already knows and loves, and then I will add a little bit of fun flair! I am willing to do mental stimulation games such as Shaping, basic tricks, and treat puzzle toys! I can offer physical stimulation as well in terms of long walks or runs, depending on the dog and owner comfort level!

I currently work Fri-Monday, but I have plenty of time to spend with any pets! I work at a dog hotel so I have plenty of experience with all kinds of dogs big and small!
