Pet care experience
Hello! I have always had pets in the home, and have learned over the years how to take good care of them. I respect that every animal has its own personality and needs, and I think it is important to pay attention to what those needs are. Though I am new to Rover, I have been my family's "go-to" for watching their pets for some time because I'm always happy to do it, and never skimp out on the details.

Having known Emily for a long time, I asked her to watch after my two dogs when I went out of town for a few days. When I came back my dogs were happy, healthy, and showing her plenty of affection. I've seen her interact with more animals than I can count. She loves them and they always love her. She's become my go to pet sitter.

I dress in exercise clothes, so am quite visible to other people when walking. I have my own dog bags for picking up droppings and do not listen to headphones when walking dogs so that I can pay attention to other cars, and to the animals.

I'd like to know if your dog has any particular fears, as well as any health conditions. Even if they aren't usually a concern, I think it is always good to be prepared. Whatever the details are, they certainly won't be a bother to me, I just like to know how to best assist the animals I am with.
A typical day
When walking, I typically like to let the dogs lead the way. Since this can either be an enrichment activity or a wellness/exercise activity, I either let them stop and sniff to their heart's content, or I can pick up the pace and keep them walking briskly. It is up to you what you want your dog to get out of the visit!

I currently work evenings and attend school two days a week. Morning walks are the perfect time to take your pup out and about for some good exercise (not to mention, its before the Florida heat gets too hot to handle).
