Pet care experience
Hello, I’m Emily! I am 20 years old and I have lived with dogs for most of my life. I have experience taking care of dogs of varying sizes, ages, and temperaments. I work at a premier doggie daycare/boarding facility on the weekends and also as a farm hand at a horse breeding barn on weekday mornings. Although I work two other jobs, my house sitting is my top priority, so allow me to be flexible for you! I have over 10 years of experience with horses and have cared for other animals including cows, goats, chickens, and rabbits. It would be a privilege to come and care for your pets, as animals have been a passion of mine that I have yet to grow tired of! As a sitter, I make sure that you are kept in the loop by keeping good contact during the stay. I also am sure to leave the residence in better condition than when I arrived. Please do not hesitate to ask me any questions - the comfort and safety of your animals is my top priority!

Emily did a great job taking care of our fur babies in our home. We will use her again for upcoming dates.
Can’t say enough about Emily! I am a very type-A person and have a hard time relaxing on vacation without my fur babies. Emily was so responsive and sent pictures and updates. She got our mail and packages and took great care of our home. We can’t wait to use her again in the future!

A typical day
Working at a doggie daycare taught me that tired dogs = good dogs! I enjoy spending as much time as I can with your pets to ensure they’re happy and comfortable with me. We may play fetch, tug of war, chase, or just snuggle on the couch. Depending on owner preferences, we could also go for walks (I personally am a big hiker!). I make sure to take dogs out for ample potty breaks, especially in the morning and before bed.
