Pet care experience
Do you work the evening shift and need someone to take your dog on a walk? Do you have long hours and want someone to give your pup some extra attention? If so, I am happy to help. I recently lost my 15 year old dog, and am looking to get my dog-fix in while helping out others. Throughout my life I have cared for two Cavalier King Charles Spaniel/Bichon mixes and one Labrador Retriever. I am available weekday evenings and varying weekend hours. I have been volunteering at the SPCA of Texas for 1.5 years, and have experience with teaching dogs to walk on leashes properly. Volunteering has exposed me to walking dogs of all shapes and sizes. I can't imagine a better dog sitter than Emily. She cared for her own dog in a way that taught me to be a better pet owner. She always went above and beyond to meet the needs of her "little prince", who recently passed at the age of 15. She cares deeply about all animals. She has taken care of her friend's dog many times and volunteers at an animal shelter. She also fostered 2 kittens who needed some extra TLC while waiting adoption. Emily would give any dog the time and attention it needs. I wouldn't hesitate for a second to let her care for my two dogs, if only we didn't lives hundreds of miles apart. Emily would make the perfect dog sitter!

A typical day
I live on a beautiful lake in Irving with a 3-mile paved trail. There are endless grassy areas if your pup likes to play fetch or roll around in the grass.
