Pet care experience
I am a young professional who would like to use this opportunity to hang around pups again (until I get my own). I have had many years around pets of all kinds. Growing up, I had a husky and yellow lab. In high school, I decided to turn my love for animals into a job where I worked at a pet resort in my hometown and continued through college. I gained lots of experience in caring for the young, old, big, and small pets of all kinds. I have experience with administering medications, including insulin, and providing first aid (the day play pups can get pretty rowdy when a tennis ball is involved). I can’t wait to relive my time from before my corporate days!

Cannot say enough about how pleased we are with Emily! I have 2 dogs with special needs that are also just needy and she cared for them with nothing but love! Also, she leaves the house absolutely spotless. Truly one of the best.
Emily kept Lola in our home for ~3 weeks while we traveled out of the country. We took a leap of faith, having only met/spoke with her a couple of times, and so glad we did. Upon meeting her we quickly sensed Emily's calm demeanor & confidence with animals, so we booked her on the spot. She left our home in great shape & Lola was excited but not anxious when we walked in the door (we recently had some issues with boarding anxiety). Emily was also very responsive and willing to help with a couple of unexpected things that came up while we were away. Emily is a treasure!
Emily stayed at our house for a week an a half. She took excellent care of our three dogs. We were nervous leaving them for so long but Emily sent multiple updates a day and made sure to keep them on their normal schedule. We are very thankful to find her!
Emily was awesome! She always gave me updates and sent pictures of my pet while I was away. He got plenty of playtime and walks. I felt completely at ease while away on a business trip.

I have lots of experience around different pet personalities and have a pretty good read on their demeanor. I realize you are paying for a service and I strive to give your pets my undivided attention during the bookings. I always leash them when walking and unsure doors/ gates are latched. I like to do walk throughs of my stays to ensure their is nothing they can get into.

I want to make this transition as easy as possible for your pet! Please let me know if your dog has any special needs or triggers, what their regular schedule is like, and if they have any recent changes to look out for (ie recent limp, hot spots, digestive changes).
A typical day
I often visit nearby lakes, enjoy exploring new walking trails, and hitting the dog parks with my clients. If the owners are ok with it, I also enjoy visiting local hot spots and attending events in the area.

I have a flexible work from home schedule and can work anywhere there is WiFi, including couch side with you pet! I take into account your pet’s schedule along with mine to ensure they get the most attention and walks necessary.
