Pet care experience
I have taken care of all types of animals since the time that I could walk. At camp Thunderbird I worked with the horses for a full summer. I also ran the wildlife room and it was my project area where I have taken care, of bunnies,tortoises, aquatic turtles, crested geckos, snakes,guinea pigs, and bearded dragons. I worked as a kennel helper for 2 years. This included feeding, watering, and walking the dogs. I am super enthusiastic about playing with puppies, dogs and cats.

Emily was fantastic! When my dog sitter got sick less than 24 hours before I was to leave on a trip, I had to come up with Plan B! I don’t trust a lot of people with my girl so I knew whoever was going to watch her had to be special and willing to come meet us last minute. Emily was very willing to meet us in our home that evening. Dora took to her instantly! I could tell she was caring! She kept me up to date all weekend with texts and pictures and left my home in perfect condition! We will definitely be using Emily again! I highly recommend Emily to anyone needing care for their pup!
Emily currently works for me at YMCA Camp Thunderbird as a program instructor. This fall she has learned over 20 activities to facilitate for our retreat and school groups. She's been amazing to have on our team. Additionally, she's in charge of taking care of our animals in the wildlife room. She works super hard, has a kind heart, and really loves animals. I would trust her to care for my pets any day!

A typical day
We will go on walks multiple times when I take care of your dog. We will play fetch and spend as much time outside as we can. If I watch yout cats I will be fun toys to stimulate your cats hunting skills.

I am currently working at Camp Thunderbird. I usually am off weekends. I am available most days after 5:30 until December 11th. After December 11th I am available until January 11th.
