Pet care experience
I have 2 dogs and 2 cats that are very spoiled. I have raised my two dogs since they were born. I do everything for them, including grooming, cleaning, training and medication administration. I have lived with dogs and cats my entire life and have experience training dogs as adults and puppies. I am also a wag walker so I know the ins and outs of creating a great walking experience and am great with handling any type of dogs (big or small) as well as cats. I like to take my time on dog walks, walking at the dog's pace, even if it means going over the scheduled minutes and I always ensure they have fresh and clean water afterwards as well as any treats the owner provides. I am currently only able to provide dog walking, dog sitting and drop-in visits services. However, I am in the process of moving out of a tiny apartment and into a big house so I hope to provide dog boarding services in the future.

The things I would like to know about your dog would regard: -Any triggers such as cats, other dogs, squirrels, cars, door-bells, door-knocks etc.? (This is especially important before walking them). -Any behavioral issues, health concerns or medication administrations? (I would be happy to provide any medications needed). -Any dietary issues, allowed treats, feeding schedule etc.? (As a pet owner, I know an animal's diet is extremely important and I would not want to put any pet at risk). Some additional information would also be helpful... -Where should I dispose doggy bags? -Do you prefer any routes to take or avoid when dog walking? Nearby parks, dog parks, streets with minimal cars, etc.? -How much exercise do you want me to give your doggy? (Slow or fast pace, and time limits). -Any commands you would like me to use? (I know consistency is important when training). I have no breed preferences. I have had multiple breeds within my life from big to small. As a Wag Walker, I deal with many different types of breeds and have experience handling big dogs (even multiple ones at a time). I currently have 2 small dogs (a shih-zhu and a chihuahua), but I love the energy from big dogs and have no issues taking them out for a run during my Wag Walks if they initiate one as I am a jogger in my spare time. I also have experience and have lived with many senior dogs and know how to provide gentle and loving care towards them.
A typical day
As a Wag Walker, I always search for the greatest walking routes with minimal cars and the most grassy areas so the pups can get as many smells as they please. I look for nearby dog parks, beaches, parks with nice paths so the dogs can enjoy and make the most out of the outdoors. I make sure to walk at the dog's pace and am very patient (I have no problem standing in one area the dog is interested in as long as it is in a safe and clean environment). I always bring extra doggy bags from home to clean up any messes left behind and give the dogs plenty of affirmations when they are being good or going potty. I love stopping in between our walks to give the dog some love and attention as this also builds trust in our relationship.

Availability
I am very flexible since I currently do not work due to being a full time student at The University of North Florida. I only attend classes on Monday and Wednesday. I also volunteer at the Jewish Family and Community Services non-profit organization. The rest of my schedule is completely free for pet visits!
