I have looked after my own dog for 14 years now and enjoyed every minute of it before moving to Tuscaloosa for college. I also live with a roommate who owns a dog, helping her take care of him daily. Dogs really like me and I have cared for and house sat for many of my friends and their families in the past. I am very intuitive and care about the well being of all dogs. I can be strict when I need to be and I am very responsible/ good at listening to directions. Even though walking/playing with clients dogs would be a job, it is also an exciting hobby. I am very passionate about dogs and enjoy all kinds of dogs very much.

Emily recently stayed in our home for 11 days and took care of our little pom. Sugar seemed to love having Emily around. We felt very comfortable knowing Emily was there, which greatly improved the quality of our time on vacation. Emily is very responsive and responsible and very sweet! Thank you, Emily!! Emily was great! Updated me every time she was with Bradie and I felt like she was in great hands while I was away. Would definitely recommend and use her again in the future.

I do not have any breed preferences, I love all breeds. The one thing I would like to know about a dog before sitting them if possible is their temperaments and their likes or dislikes.
A typical day
I love talking dogs on walks down by the Riverwalk near The University of Alabama campus or a place called the Arboretum which is a grassy open area with multiple trails through the woods. I would also frequently play with the dog and its toys or take them on long walks in the neighborhood. My favorite place to take a dog is a dog park because it's such a good way for dogs to become more social and also be around other dogs as well.
