Mother and Lover of All Dogs ~ I will love your pup as much as you do ❤️ Ever since I was little, I’ve loved dogs, all of them. There’s almost always been a dog in my life and if there wasnt, I wanted and thought about it until there was again. My childhood dog was a Wheaton Terrier named Abby. From walking her, to playing with her in the yard, to feeding her meals, and snuggling her to bed every night. I will never forget that painstakingly awful feeling I got if we ever had to leave her and/or board her. I felt so guilty and missed her so much and was so worried about her, of course she was always in good hands and stayed at reputable places, but it’s hard...dogs are people too. Abby lived nearly 17 years and marks the foundation for my love of all dogs. Only a few years passed, between saying goodbye to Abby and welcoming another Wheaton Terrier into my life, this time with my own family, my husband, daughter, and soon-to-be son on the way. We kind of stumbled upon Harry, he was nearly 10 when we took him in and we got him in the same month we closed on our new home. Harry was such a beloved member of our family, though he had some behavioral issues with other dogs, he had unconditional love for every human he ever met; which is why we kept him for the 4 short years he lived and had with us; and why we walked him every day at 6 am when hardly any dogs were awake, and at midnight when they all went to sleep. He was an incredible dog to our family and there wasn’t a night that he didn’t spend snuggling in someone’s room. I knew I couldn’t fathom the emptiness of losing a dog again, so we decided to adopt from a local shelter when it was time for Harry to leave us and cross the rainbow bridge. Our rescue Jet is the most adorable playful pup around and has many furry friends. I took Jet to the dog parks on a regular basis as a little puppy all the way up until the pandemic last year. He loved to roll around in the mud, jump in the kiddie pool, play tug of war, fetch. And I loved to watch! I also loved to take pictures and videos, it’s so fun to see your dogs living their best lives and doing what they love to do. Which is also why it was so sad when everything closed nearly a year ago because of Covid. It was clear Jet really missed socializing as regularly as we did and could before; even long 5 mile walks in the forest weren’t cutting it for him. He wanted to play with friends! So, we took in another rescue, and adopted our sweet Stellabella. She became part of our family almost instantaneously, though not without some challenges of course! I’ve worked with her every day to overcome a lot of fear and anxiety she had prior to living with us. From whining to barking, and resource guarding, the strides this girl has made in our family is incredible. Jet and Stella are both a little over 2 now, trained with e collars, go for on and off leash walks long and short, and have many weekly social gatherings with their furry friends. I have experience with different breeds of dogs as well as different temperaments of dogs. I’m comfortable introducing dogs and also quickly breaking dogs up if they ever get too frisky. I’m super patient and willing to assist with any basic training needs. I’m also reliable, consistent, and always on time! For Dog Walking - I am happy to take one or multiple dogs on walks. I love going for long walks and can get out multiple times a day. I am comfortable with on and off leash walks. I’m also knowledgeable and experienced with e collars and e collar training. For Dog Socializing - I love to socialize the dogs and know first hand how important it is, starting from puppyhood! Happy to arrange pup dates between dogs that are already friends and also can introduce new friends based on comfort level. I am open to dog parks, fields, forests and comfortable socializing small groups of dogs (up to 8). I can come to fenced in yards and bring friends for other dogs to play with. Dog Sitting - This will be dependent on the dog and breed, and must have at least 2 dog walks or 2 dog socializations with me and my dogs to be considered. Also, can have a maximum of 2 dogs at a time in my home,also dependent on the circumstances. I can do check ins to feed dogs and take them out as well.
