Pet care experience
I have bathed, cared, and walked dogs since I was very young, 9 to be exact! I was in AKC, specifically with beagles and walkers, so I am use to dogs big or small, sweet or stubborn! I also have had a wide range of breeds throughout my life. A golden retriever, all kinds of hounds, labs, cats, etc.! Overall, I will treat your fur baby with the highest level of respect, kindness, and love. I understand pets are family, and I will take great care of them. From checking on them, to playing, walking, making sure they get their meds if needed, and giving them treats! (approved treats if allowed) 🐶🐱

Emily is amazing with animals! This girl is a go getter and volunteers her time at a wildlife rehab center for free. She has also been a state park ranger. She is dedicated to helping animals and I’ve never really met a kinder hearted person. She’s definitely one of the only people I would trust to care for my animals. She comes by compassion naturally and shows it to everyone and animals. She is extremely trustworthy as well.
Emily truly cares for the well being of all animals big and small. She is a responsible and loving animal mom herself. I would highly recommend her to take care of my furry friends any day!!
Emily is one of the biggest animal lovers I have had the pleasure of meeting. She is extremely capable with just about any type of pet but she is especially capable when it comes to cats and dogs; whether it be her own incredibly well taken care of and trained dogs and cats or any pet she happily gets to meet.

If I were to come over to check on your furry friend, I would make sure to check their food, water, and if they need to use the bathroom (take the dog out, or check a litter box). I then would play, rub, and love your fur baby!💕 If there is anything else needing to be done or specific instructions or requests, just please let me know, and I would be more than happy to accommodate!

I would like to know in advance or find out during meet & greet: -Fears -Do they have anxiety? If so, what causes it? And if necessary, is there something that helps calm them down? From being pet, to CBD treats, or things to avoid. -How are they with other animals? -How are they in a public setting? -Are there special treats, or toys they enjoy? -Are there any specific places you take them or they enjoy for walks? Or dog parks? -Are there treats or foods they can’t have? -Are there any medications they take?
A typical day
If there is a specific places they go normally, please feel free to share! I will try to walk them for at least 25-30 minutes, unless told more or less. I would more than likely walk them through the park areas or along the MSU campus! If it is hot, I will make sure to check if the sidewalk or concrete is too hot, or if it is raining to dry them off when we get back. Regardless, I have a pet water bottle (that I sanitize and have multiple ones for dogs and cats) to make sure they don’t become dehydrated, and I will always clean up after them! I will do everything I can to give your fur baby a good day!

Availability
I am a student, as well as a once being a certified kennel technician (I now work part time in Parks and Recreation). As a kennel technician, I would specifically take care of dogs and cats at a vet or boarding facility while their owners were away! I have much experience with playing, walking, feeding, and cleaning up after dogs and cats. I love any chance I get to be around animals! 💕
