Pet care experience
Hey y’all! I’m Emily! I’m your typical southern girl from NC. I was raised on a farm with animals ranging from chickens, goats, horses and even rabbits. But the list doesn’t stop there! Before I moved down to FL, I was a veterinary assistant for 3 years. My oldest fur baby is 18- my cat Nala. Yep, you read that correctly! 18 years old. She is my pride and joy. I have 4 cats, and 1 dog whose name is Lucy (or Lucifer when she gets in trouble!) She’s a coonhound, but definitely not your typical hunting dog! More of a couch dog. But don’t tell her I said that! She has QUITE the personality. Her howling is endless. Please, don’t hesitate to contact me. I love animals more than anything, and am ALWAYS here to help another fur mama/dad. I am also all for “meet & greets” before a booking! I have no fear when it comes to any type of animal. The more the better!!!
Reviews
Wonderful again!
Emily is amazing! She's done two long vacation sits for my two cats and has been a lifesaver. The daily pictures and videos are a huge relief when you're thousands of miles away and nervous about leaving your buddies alone. Highly recommend her, she's a rockstar!
Emily is amazing! My kitties just loved her too. I could tell because she got the crazy one to come out. I just got home and they are super chill and don’t seem stressed a bit. I can tell she actually loves her job and caring for animals.
Emily is super! She was very patient while my older, blind dog warmed up to her. She also sent lots of pictures of my fur babies. I will definitely be a repeat customer!

I understand some pets can be extremely timid of strangers. Meet & Greets are very important for me so that your pet can meet me while you’re present, which allows them to see that I am not a threat. I am constantly talking out loud to your pet(s) while I am there with them during a booking. I’ve found that the more I talk, the easier it is for them to get used to my presence and form a friendship with me. I one time had a pet sitter who came in, fed, gave them water, patted them all on the head, and left. You will not have that with me- trust & believe it. I treat every animal as if it were human so don’t be surprised if you hear me having a full blown conversation with your dog or cat 😅🥰
Information Emily T. would like to know about your pet
No breed restrictions here! Every dog is beautiful. I’m a firm believer in the phrase, “It’s not about the animal, it’s about the handler.” As humans we need patience and understanding when dealing with other people sometimes, so why not be the same way with animals? Why treat them any different?
A typical day
Each drop in visit includes feeding, watering, short potty breaks, playtime, and of COURSE snuggles. I also never forget my good bag filled with toys and treats ?
