Pet care experience
Dogs seem to be drawn to me and I would love to dog sit or dog walk as it would be enjoyable for me and as a way to experience some kind of pet therapy. I am kind, patient, and flexible. I'd love to help you out and watch or walk your dog.

We enjoyed having Emily house/dog sit very much. Our dog is a rescue and very shy but Emily was able to get her to warm her up and keep her happy. She left our house in great order and we will call for her first if needed for sure. Have also been recommending her to our other family households in the area that have animals.
Emily was so sweet and communication while I was away was extremely prompt. Even though my cat isn’t very friendly or cares for others she still hung out with her and insured she was taken care of.

Right now I can’t provide care at my place of residence as I live in an apartment building and have a cat. However, when at a clients home I am attentive to the pets, spend a lot of time playing or exercising the pet(s), and I make sure the home is being taken care of as well. I leave the space picked up and clean.

It’s important to know location of supplies such as food, leash, etc. The daily routine of the dog, what’s expected when it comes to amount of exercise, quirks that the dog might have, vet or emergency information.
A typical day
I love to take dogs on trails, to dog parks, or play fetch, frisbee, etc. Those that are comfortable in cars, I’ll happily take the dog to new places, or parks that are outside of the neighbor they are accustomed to. I love Hovander in Ferndale, Boulevard, Squires Lake to name a few.

I work full time and would be available late afternoons, evenings, and weekends. I can work a bit from home if needed in order to provide more 1:1 care for whatever animals are in the home.
