Caring for pets brings me joy!
Pet care experience
5 years ago I started taking care of my friend's pets while they were on vacation. I soon realized that my favorite time of day was when I was hanging out with and/or walking those pets! I give detailed reports so that the family of the pet will have peace of mind. I've always had dogs and cats. Seniors are my favorite but all ages and breeds have my heart! After volunteering at Best Friends Animal Society in Utah, I decided to make pet care a part of my daily life.

Emily and her husband made our dog Fletcher feel right at home, and helped our otherwise uneasy dog settle right down for his short stay. We will definitely look to rebook with them if we come back to the city!
Emily was so sweet and amazing with our pup. She was punctual, friendly and walked him for the full 30 minutes, even though it started to rain. Will definitely be using her again!
Emily was excellent! Punctual, Professional and Thoughtful.... She helped us out with our dog Oliver while we were traveling and was able to get him walked and medicated everyday as we requested. She provided pictures and updates daily and answered any questions we had. We will absolutely be booking her again when the time comes!
Emily was a huge help when we needed someone to care for our elderly dog when we were out of town a few times. She was punctual, responsible, and a good communicator. I loved getting pictures and updates. Even when I knew my requests were silly and a little over the top because I didn't want to leave my dog, Emily's caring and positive energy put me at ease knowing he was in good hands.

I have a large yard with no fence so dogs will always be in a leash. I have an indoor/outdoor kitty that I adopted when he was abandoned. He just does his own thing and is not afraid of dogs.

I'm an adult learner going back to school, mostly at home/online. My schedule is perfect for walks and drop-ins anytime of the day! Taking care of pets helps me stay in shape and gives me a nice break from school work to fully focus on the pet.
