I’ve grown up with dogs my whole life from cattle dogs to pit bulls and all of the mutts in between. I now have one dog of my own, Willow, and spend my extra time dog sitting for friends or fostering for the rescue that brought me Willow.

Emily took great care of our somewhat cranky rescue mutt for 3 nights. She met us beforehand, picked him up, and dropped him off, and sent lots of updates and pictures. I would definitely board with her again!

I have a dog run at my apartment for quick potty breaks, sniff sessions, or a game of fetch. My own dog is allowed on furniture and isn’t crated at night but I am happy to provide as much structure as you’d like for your own dog! Ultimately I want to treat your dog (and your home) with as much care as my own. *Please note: my 4yo dog willow may be home during boarding stays! So if your dog prefers to be an only child confirm with me or consider booking a housesit!*

Does your dog take meds, have dietary restrictions, or have any other special needs? Is there any reactivity I should be aware of? On leash, around food, resource guarding? Does your pup have any specific body language or quirks I should look out for? Needing to go potty, feeling stressed, etc. What are your most used commands? Has your dog ever been one to bolt out the door or run away? Is your dog able to be left alone for a work day?
A typical day
A typical day includes a morning potty break and breakfast. During my WFH days I like to break my day up with an afternoon walk. Snuffle mats, puzzles, and squeaker toys keep the pup occupied while I work. After the work day is done we like to play fetch or have an evening walk, then dinner and a good nights sleep ☺️ of course every pup is different and I like to tailor the day to your pup’s needs and wants to the best of my ability!

Availability
I work in person ~3x a week and I work from home the rest of the week! So I have plenty of time and flexibility to give your pup the stimulation, love, and care that they need! I try my best to follow the same routine you and your pup have at home so it’s a seamless stay. **I offer drop ins and walking services in Capitol Hill, First Hill, and occasionally downtown**
