Hello all! My name is Emily, and I’m excited for the chance to meet and care for your fur babies. I have a wide variety of experience working with animals, including vet clinic experience as well as boarding retreat experience! I love animals and have been working with them in a job setting for about a year now, but I grew up on a farm so I’ve really always been around animals. I am absolutely thrilled to start working with Rover and to begin providing top tier care for your furry friends! I am passionate about ensuring my clients receive the best care for their pets while they’re away! I’m so excited for the opportunity, and I can’t wait to meet you and your pet!

My dogs and cats are like my children, and they are treated as such. All of them are 100% bonafide spoiled, through and through. I take any opportunity possible to make sure their lives are cushy and relaxed since they were all rescues and come from a variety of different challenging home lives before we rescued them.
Information Emily S. would like to know about your pet
I don’t feel like I need any particular info on a dog before I provide my services, aside from any aggression the dog may feel with someone new coming to hang out with them for a few days! I love dogs and have grown up with hunting dogs, big and small, and I have 3 now myself that are spoiled rotten. Most importantly, I want to know how to make your dog as happy and have as much fun as possible while I’m there!
A typical day
My favorite part about getting to know new dogs/cats is finding out what kind of toys are their favorite! I absolutely love when owners leave their pups favorite stuffed animal or a cat’s favorite catnip toy. I think that making sure you keep up with a pet’s routine of play, even when their owner is gone, is crucial to make sure they don’t get down in the dumps!

I work from home and have been doing so for about a year and a half now. This has given me the ability to have just about full availability for petsitting endeavors, which has been a pleasure and a blessing!
