Pet care experience
Hello! Nice to meet you. I've lived with dogs my whole life (never spent a day without a dog in the house), and now that I'm away for school I miss being around them. If I can help people out AND bring myself a little joy by helping to take care of dogs, that sounds like the best idea in the world. I have plenty of experience caring for, walking, training and loving dogs of all sizes, temperaments and abilities. My family's first dogs were a little blind rescue, a 150 pound bull-mix who loved life, and a scrappy mutt who always used to climb on our roof. From there I've met all kinds of dogs, and at the local dog park (where I walk my family's dog when he stays with me) I'm known for being found at the bottom of a literal dog pile playing with the pups. I can't wait to meet you and your dog!!

It would be great to have as much info about your dog before I meet them. I want to make sure I take care of dogs according to what makes them and you comfortable. Special toys, special equipment, set walking patterns, things like that. If your dog is super easy-going and doesn't have particulars, that's great to know too. I know I'll love them as soon as I meet them regardless.
A typical day
I love walking to the local dog park! Depending on the dog, I will either take them into the leash off fenced area and let them make friends, or we can stay on the trails and smell the sights there. We can also walk to the university campus where there are spaces to run and play games or large indoor off-leash spaces. If your dog prefers some solitude, then the waterfront or eastern trails in the city provide some great places (and great pup pictures) for dogs to explore without the crowds.
