Pet care experience
I am a very active dog owner (Siberian Huskies) that takes my own dogs on walks, runs, scooter rides, car rides, and even to dog parks that are 45 minutes away.When I watch other dogs they too get the same care as my own. I am a firm believer that dogs are a member of the family and should be treated as such. I love to train dogs with positive reinforcement (aka treats) and I use the crate as a safe and quiet zone but never as a punishment. In the past I have often watched several neighborhood dogs, families that I used to babysit for I would watch their dogs when out of town, and I have watched my relatives dogs. I want to offer my services to give people a peace of mind when they leave for work or vacation knowing that their dog/s will have their own vacation too!

Emily is excellent with my 2 4mos old Great Dane puppies. They have turned into quite naughty boys with a bit of separation anxiety barking, house training boredom attention seeking peeing and she has been awesome dealing with their less than ideal behavior. They are two active big puppies and she keeps them going and active. She works well with them and I know they are safe well cared for and being trained. She is awesome and I love her and so do the boys!
Emily was our best pet sister, she is generous, compassionate and the most important Is that she loves animals. I had two boxers and they love her. We do not really leave our dogs, but we really trust her to watch them. she is very responsable and always keep us update in how our dogs were by sendings us pictures and videos. However the only sad thing is that she moved and so we gotta get a different sitter. I would highly recomend her to anyone looking for a loving animal care giver. Sincerely. Viviana R.

Has your dog interacted with other dogs? Is he/she possessive about toys or food? Is he/she trained off leash? I do favor medium/larger breed dogs if they are to be boarded at my house. I have two huskies that love to play. If there are any Siberian Husky owners out there, I absolutely love watching your dog or having play dates!
A typical day
I have a large backyard with walking trails in the woods and near a creek. I will often leash up the dogs on the trails to limit tick interaction but also allow for the dogs to sniff a bunch of funky scents. In the past I have also staked out large 300' run/play areas for dogs that can't be off leash so that they are contained with 4' fencing but can still romp around with me being present. I often take the dogs for a morning walk and then a night time walk or we get in the car and go to the dog park. Depending on the dog's energy and the temperature I will play fetch, tug of war, or other mentally stimulating games to tire them out.
