Pet care experience
Hello! My experience with animals goes as far back as I can remember. I grew up on a farm in the great state of Wyoming, so my days were filled with taking care of horses, cows, chickens, pigs, bees, cats, and dogs. I have volunteered at animal shelters and worked at a number of veterinary clinics before coming to the Twin Cities to earn my DVM. I am in my first year at the U of M, and I am loving it! I am working towards becoming a mixed animal veterinarian, so I am open to working and caring for just about any animal out there!

Emily is a caring and loving person to any animal that she is around. She has taken care of my dog multiple times and always does so exceptionally. She loves the animals and they love her too. She is prompt,reliable,trustworthy, and knowledgeable about all things animals. I would recommend her to anyone who is looking for a dog sitter.

I have two cats (Bonsai and Churro). They just turned 6 months, so they have plenty of energy to go around. We have toys and lots of space for them to run and jump around when they want, but they also have their favorite spots to curl up and nap. I am a big advocate for getting up and moving, so I will be sure to help your pets let off some energy and then curl up.

A typical day
Since I just have my cats right now, we mostly stay indoors. My husband and I love the outdoors though, so we have several parks in and out of the city that we visit.

My schedule as a veterinay student changes on a weekly basis. As a rule of thumb, my weekends are fairly open, but I can also make the weekdays work if I have some notice.
