Pet care experience
Hello! My name is Emily and I have taken care of all kinds of animals since a very young age. Whether it was house-sitting, dropping in for playdates or potty breaks, or even taking them for long walks, I soak up every second I get with our furry friends. I understand that training and mental stimulation is just as important as playtime and bonding, so I look to bring all of these things to the table when caring for any animal. I am skilled in all kinds of pet-related tasks, including but not limited to: feeding and bathing, going for walks (short or long), providing medications, puppy care, and more.

Emily was amazing with my little cat Calico. He had the best company and attention he needed when I was away. She was really sweet and kind to my boy and there for him as he needs a lot of attention and is very social a lot of the time. I would also always get updates when she dropped by. Emily is a very responsive and personable sitter to go for, who you can trust 100%. I’ll be using her in future, for sure. ❤️
I was very happy to find Emily, she is a true animal lover and takes amazing care of my pets. Emily will text over a picture, leave me information on treats that are best for my pets, and cares for each of them, the way I would. I never worry about my pets when Emily is around. Emily is a wonderful person to have taking care of your four legged family members. Growing up with her own dogs and cats, from a German Boxer to a Mini Schnauzer to a ragdoll cat, gave Emily to opportunity and experience to show her love and care for her family pets. She considers all pets as family members and treat each as they were her own being able to manager individual or groups of pets with ease. Emily would be a wonderful person to have taking care of your four legged family members!
Emily has taken care of our dog Karli (medium sized female hunting dog mix) on multiple occasions while we were at work or away during the day. Usually emily took care of a small potty break, feeding in the morning, a long walk on leash and playtime and cuddles during the day. (Occasionally she gave her medicine when it was necessary.) We were extremely happy with Emily as a dog sitter and Karli loved her a lot. She handled her calm, certain and loving. She was very reliable and always on time.

I am very flexible and big on pet safety. Whatever safety precautions are needed for the owner's peace of mind I am more than happy to comply with them. I am a big believer in all dogs being leashed when outside of the owner's home.

I have past experience with high anxiety and aggressive dogs. Due to this, I would love to be informed about any difficulties I might run into when caring for your pet. I understand our furry family members all react differently to new people or things. I'll take all the knowledge I can beforehand!
A typical day
I love walks and, depending on the location, live for long ones on the beach! I also love coming up with new ways to mentally stimulate pets through lick pads, sniff and find, or even just playing with their favorite toy! And of course, who could forget cuddles!

Availability
I am available during the week anytime after 5:30 pm. I do work from home on Thursdays and Fridays, so my schedule is a little more flexible these days. My availability on the weekends changes frequently but I am mostly available anytime before 2.
