Pet care experience
I have ample love in my heart to care for your best fur friends and happy home. I’m comfortable with puppies, kitties, and senior animals and am willing to do extended stays to provide TLC while you attend to other important life matters. Active dogs will get plenty of exercise in their favorite spots, including trips to the beach, dog parks, trails, etc... Indoor animals will get their mental curiosity and physical needs met in the ways they love best. I work best with dogs who get along with other dogs. I am accepting clients in SF, Oakland, and the surrounding Bay Area, Marin, Sonoma, and Napa as well as throughout Central Florida, including Disney and Universal, and Tampa/St.Pete/Melbourne. I also have experience pet and house sitting internationally, including Mexico City and Paris. I follow your directions, give medications, and work with your animal's routines.

Emily is great with pets. I had zero concern leaving my Cat with her. It is clear she cares a lot about caring for the pets she looks after.
Emily was fantastic! I was concerned leaving my seven month puppy for the first time, but Emily was absolutely wonderful. She put me and my pup at ease from the moment we first met. She has a gentle approach and really connected with my pup. To make things more complicated, my pup was in heat. Fortunately for me, that didn’t phase Emily, and she handled everything without a problem. She communicated with me regularly to let me know how everything was going, sent adorable photos, and did a fantastic job of taking care of my pup! I would highly recommend her. Thank you Emily!!!
Emily took wonderful care of my senior, special needs, dog. He is blind and prone to confusion in new places or with new people, but he took to Emily right away. I was delighted to get lots of photos of him snuggled with her on the sofa and enjoying his favorite park several blocks away (he has a stroller). She took note of and adapted herself to his schedule and routines, and when I got home he was the mellowest I’d seen him after one of my absences. She is clearly a senior dog whisperer!
Emily did a FANTASTIC job dog-sitting our little aussie puppy, Luna! We were out of town for about a week over July 4th weekend (read: the scary firework marathon) and we needed someone to house-sit Luna for the first time. Additionally, Luna was recovering from a minor surgery and needed a little extra TLC during the dog-sitting. Emily was extremely kind and gentle with our recovering Puppy! She was very friendly and kept us up to date with adorable daily-photos and pup-dates :) She was very responsive to our communication and made us feel very comfortable leaving our pup in her care. Additionally, she was very flexible with us in terms of changing logistics when we had to move our return flight due to a hurricane! On top of being great with Luna, she was very respectful of our space and cleaned up very well at the end of her stay. She even went above and beyond and actually picked us up from the airport when we returned from our trip! I would DEFINITELY recommend Emily for dog-sitting or house-sitting to our friends and family, and we will certainly be using her services in the future!

The dog park, treats, back scratches, and family yoga time are crowd faves. Walks in the neighborhood or at the water, park, or trails provide so many opportunities to sniff! Cuddles supplied on demand and baths upon request.

Availability
I take care of one family at a time, meaning that your pets will not interact with other clients’ animals. I have the scheduling flexibility to work with your pets’ routines and needs. I am happy to meet clients once or on a recurring basis. First time meet and greets will be done in a public setting for our mutual safety.
