Pet care experience
I provided around-the-clock care for my 16-year-old dog with kidney failure up through his final day. For many years he was both blind and deaf, so I'm comfortable caring for dogs with special needs. Over a two years ago I rescued a senior pup with Cushings and heart disease. Together we've worked through his health issues and separation anxiety. I’m passionate about caring for animals, whatever their unique needs may be. I have an extra soft spot for senior dogs and rescues 💛 My life revolves around animals - including my 9-5 job as a publicist with a focus on wildlife and animal conservation. I’ve been a long time, go-to pet sitter for friends, family and colleagues. I grew up with all kinds of pets (chickens, ducks, Guinea pigs, parakeets, fish, salamanders, dogs, cats, etc.) so I have experience with a variety of animal family members.

Total peace of mind having my girl Sadie stay with Emily. Emily is very accommodating and I really appreciated her flexibility with my last minute booking, and also my flight delays coming home. I could tell she took good care of Sadie and I loved the pictures she sent. Very responsive communication! I would happily book again :) highly recommend.
Emily is the perfect dog sitter! She took cake of my Bichon for 3 months while I was overseas paying attention to his special medical needs and his anxiety. HOME: I live in a studio apartment, so it there isn't tons of space to run around, but do I have a fenced front yard that's perfect for playing. I have one friendly, medium-sized dog named Archie. He doesn't understand what playing is, so mostly just watches and wags. He's great with both cats and dogs. Because he doesn't care for toys, we don't have a ton, but I keep a handful around for other dogs. Animals are welcome on my furniture if that’s fine with you. I also have AC, fans, blankets, etc. inside to keep everyone comfortable.

A typical day
Depending on owner and animal’s preference, we can travel to nearby parks, go to local beaches, play in the yard, try out dog-friendly breweries and restaurants and, of course, lounge!

Availability
SCHEDULE: Monday, Wednesday and Friday I work in office from 9-5, usually. I come home on my lunch to check on my dog and any dogs staying with us. I also have a pet camera. Tuesdays and Thursdays I work remotely, with an occasional need to be on site somewhere.
