My name is Emily. I'm a teacher who lives in Austin and works in Pflugerville. I love dogs and cats and would love to help with long days away from home or weekend/vacation petsitting. I am available to stay in your home or to make visits during the day and evening. During the school year I am available primarily on weekends, but in the summer I have lots of time to spend with your dog or cat. I have a Blue Tick/Catahoula mix named Blue and a sweet cat named Celia. I've grown up with animals and love all breeds.

I don't have any breed preferences-I love being around different breeds and personalities. Because I have a dog that needs a good balance of activity, structure and love, I think the most important thing to know is what a dog's typical day is like so that his/her routine can be consistent while their family is away.
A typical day
Time I'll spend with your dog As much as possible. I generally only have to do small errands or things around my own house on weekends and days off-the rest of the time I'll be spending with your dog! Extra house-sitting services Absolutely. I will take care of minor chores and will keep your house neat and tidy while I'm your guest.

Why I love dog sitting I've loved dogs all my life. I've had a Poodle, two Labradors, and an English Foxhound. In 2013 my husband and I adopted Blue, a Blue Tick Hound/Catahoula mix. He needed a lot of love and training; we've learned a lot from him about how to be good dog parents.
