Pet care experience
I'm a Teacher/School Counselor in the St. Louis region and a dog lover, but I currently live with a roommate who has allergies so I cannot have a pup of my own right now. In the past, I've lived with a pup for two years- we rescued him as as puppy and I enjoyed being his co-owner for two years along with a former roommate until I moved to go back to grad school. I recently got my master's degree from Washington University in social work and spend my days counseling and providing graduate support to high school aged students in St. Louis city. I have a flexible work schedule and am free on weekends and would love to walk or run with your pup and pet-sit!

Emily was wonderful with Angus and Sonny! She kept us informed during her stay and sent lots of pictures of them playing. They obviously had a great time. We will definitely try to book her for future stays.
Emily was so great with our dogs! She was super accommodating despite the fact that our booking was last minute and our pups can be a bit rowdy. She sent regular updates and lots of photos. From the looks of it, our dogs had way more fun with Emily than they do when we are home! It was so nice to come home worry-free after a long vacation to our furbabies, who had clearly been well-exercised and cared for. She was very professional and I would highly recommend her. We definitely plan to book with Emily again!
Emily was great with Duncan! Always got detailed updates about Duncan and his walk and pictures too. It was great to know Duncan was well taken care of.
Emily was great! She helped me out in a pinch, AND sent frequent updates which included the stuff I was most concerned about (his meds!) as well as cute pics. Would definitely have her watch Kellen again

I would like to know if the dog is comfortable with strangers or new people and how they prefer to handle food and treats. I would also ask how the dog handles being on a leash and how the dog usually interacts with other pups we may encounter on a walk.
A typical day
I love going for walks and runs both in local parks and along cool neighborhood routes! I'm always up for a rousing game of fetch or tug-of-war and love all kinds of dogs- whether they are relaxed or high energy!
