Pet care experience
Hello! I managed a pet store in Nevada for 4.5 years during college, which helped me learn a lot about different breeds and their needs. I have just enrolled in school again, this time to become a registered vet technician. I have extensive experience as a sitter and am comfortable distributing meds, handling large breeds, and anything the dogs may need. I am very comfortable with large breeds of dogs but small breeds are always welcome as well as cats. Housesitting, drop ins, and walks are available as needed for each individual case. My experience has made me adaptable to each sit I have done and I am confident your pet will be comfortable during your vacation and have everything they need and more. Emily R. is a true animal lover. I can tell by the way she interacts with our fur babies. Emily has taken care of our fur babies a few times now and I don't plan on changing our Sitter. We have been lucky enough that she is available when we need her and she is the only sitter we use. One of our fur babies suffers from anxiety when we leave but with Emily he is perfectly fine, as if he almost prefers her. We also had an incident where one of our fur babies was yelping, as if hurt, and Emily made sure she called us right away to let us know and ask if it was normal, as she was worried. It turned out to be absolutely nothing, but it is very reassuring to have a responsible animal lover as a sitter. While Emily is watching our fur babies she sends us a lot of pictures and videos of them. I would (and have) recommend Emily to any friends and family that needs a sitter. She is very reliable, responsible and sweet!
