Pet care experience
I have been pet sitting for neighbors and friends since I was 12 years old. I always loved getting to meet new animals and getting to care for them as if they were my own. I am very comfortable around all sizes and ages of dogs and cats alike. I have cared for a variety of breeds and grew up with large dog breeds and cats at home. Right now I care for ( and train ) my puppy and adult cat, both rescues that I was so lucky to find from a local Orlando shelter.

Emily took great care of our kitty while we were on vacation over the holidays. Emily is wonderful! My sweet peaches is a little old lady and has many special needs. Emily is extremely attentive and communicative. She’s always going the extra step to make peaches content and comfortable. There is no one else I would rather have watch peaches than Emily. We are so happy that we found Emily; she has become an essential part of our family 🐶

It is always helpful to know of any specific needs that your dog may have or any behaviors to be aware of. If you have a puppy and are still working on commands- let me know! I am happy to try and continue reinforcing them while you are away so that no progress is lost. Also, any "favorites" that your pet may have is greatly appreciated so that I can try to make them most at ease and happy while I am caring for them.
A typical day
I like to see what the pup seems to enjoy most and go from there as every dog is unique in the way they like to burn off their energy! I am always happy to play fetch with them and their favorite toys, run around the yard with an active puppy, or go for a nice walk outside around the neighborhood.

I currently work as a school nurse and I love my job! I chose to work for Rover in addition because spending time with animals is another passion of mine and something that I have a great deal of experience in. I will be most available on weekends and when school is out on breaks.
