My home is a great place for low-medium energy dogs who need a calm environment. I spend many days working from home in West Seattle with my Pomeranians and your mellow dog will live here as one of my own. (Should your high-energy dog need a dog walker, I am available for that!) I have a small backyard that is mostly deck. It's a great place for puttering around and potty breaks, not suitable for running around or chasing a ball. My home is small so it is important the temperaments and personalities are good together. Dogs must have zero dog aggression and be okay amongst the pack, unobserved.

Emily was great with my 11 year old pup. She kept me updated on how Kerry was adjusting and that she was taking her medicine with no issues. While Kerry was happy to see me on my return, I could tell she was well cared for in my absence. I've booked with Emily already for my next sitting need.

We've adopted several senior dogs and are sympathetic to their needs. We can put non-slip surfaces on the floor, and pick up a 50lb dog. There are a few stairs into the house, but none to the backyard, so this tends to be a good place for dogs with mobility issues. We do sometimes accept small and medium sized puppies. Your puppy must be able to sleep through the entire night, crated.

Before we set up a meet and greet, I'll want to confirm that a daily walk meets your dog’s exercise needs, that they can be with another dog unsupervised, if they are an escape artist, and that they are okay not sleeping on the human's bed.
A typical day
Your dog will have access to the yard for potty breaks and be able to relax on the deck during warmer months. I will take your dog on a daily walk around the neighborhood. On occasion we visit West Crest off-leash park. Once in awhile, with the owners' permission of course, we take Rover dogs with us for weekends at the coast.

Availability
We do not allow dogs on the bed. Your dog can sleep in the bedroom on a dog bed or crated, or anywhere they like in the house.
