Pet care experience
I have the most experience taking care of cats, ever since I was young we had a cat in our house. Now my husband and I have 2 of our own with the most energy you could possibly imagine. From bathroom problems to givings meds to vet visits, I’ve been there. Within the past 4 years I’ve been looking after friends’ dogs when they’re away and I’ve come to love the experience just as much. Hopefully soon we’ll have enough space and time for a dog, but for now I would love to be able to treat your dog or cat to a great cuddle session or just a quick potty break.

Safety, trust & environment
It definitely depends on the animal and what you need me to do. If they are crate trained and you prefer them to be in their crate, I can do that. If you have a dog or cat that has so much energy and needs stimulation through toys and activities I’ve got it covered.
Information Emily R. would like to know about your pet
Of course let me know if there are certain practices or routines you are used to doing with your pet as it helps them keep calm in new environments or with new people. If there are medications that need to be taken and the routine for that as well is best to know up front.
A typical day
Stimulating your dogs is most important to me. Giving them time to play and exercise outside, practicing tricks after approval from you, and walking them to gain knowledge of their neighborhood would be my top three picks. My favorite parks are just a 10-20 minute drive around AVL and I know summer time means social time for the fur babes.

Availability
I’m being honest here, my work schedule is pretty hectic. But on my days off I’m able to meet the needs of your pet at any time of the day. When I’m not looking after others pets I have my own that I love giving attention to. They’re probably sick of it. The nice thing is that even when I am working I have a few hours in between where I can let a dog out for a walk or potty break or check in on the cats. You name it.
