Pet care experience
Hi, my name is Emily and over my lifetime I have had 13 dogs and 7 cats (along with other pets such as bearded dragons, a gold capped conure, snakes, and more)! I currently have a Pitbull named Molly who I love with my entire heart. Since I have grown up with at least 3 dogs and 2 cats at once, I do NOT charge extra fees for extra animals. I’m used to large packs and I want to keep pet care affordable for everyone, including those with many animals. Extra pets just means extra love 😊 I have experience with: * Administering medication (oral, injection, and topical) * Reactive dogs * Animal aggressive dogs * A variety of animals * Animal behavior and body language * A variety of dog breeds, from Dachshunds to Rottweilers to Great Danes. I likely have experience with your pup’s breed, or at least vast knowledge on the breed * Training (adult dogs and puppies - I have trained 3 of my own dogs) * Puppies as young as 4 weeks old * Kittens as young as 8 weeks old * Animal first aid I will take care of your pet like they are my own, and I love my pets more than anything! I often read about animal behavior and health and I can assure you that your pet will be extremely safe in my hands. I will continue to implement your training during my time with your dog if requested. I am familiar with many training techniques and have worked with professional trainers in the past. Booking with me means your dog will be treated exactly as you treat them! I will love and care for your pets as if they are my own, ensuring a stress-free experience for you and your pet(s).

Very disappointed, Emily did not show up for our pre-booked visit. I have had to remind Emily of booked visits in the past, otherwise this would have happened before too. This time I did not, based on this I would not recommend and we will not be using her services again. I’m not sure what’s happened, we had several great drop ins last year and thought we found our new sitter, but we cannot hire someone if we can’t trust that they are going to show up and take care of our pet. Luckily we had a friend who was able to drop in, otherwise not sure what we would have done while we are away for a long weekend…
We have two rescues who don’t warm up to strangers right away. This was the first time that Emily dog sat them; they seemed comfortable upon meeting her (no barks!). The update we got that they took treats from her and were sleeping only confirmed that they felt at ease. Grateful that Emily took good care of our pups and for the pups’ approvals. We’d definitely trust our pups with her again.
Emily is wonderful - I have complete peace of mind when she's watching over my big Maine Coon cat in my absence. She adores animals and it comes through with every update and photo she sends along! This was second time she came to care for my big cat and I will look forward to the next. I heartily recommend her as a responsible, caring pet guardian - the very best! Thank you Emily!
Emily is awesome - she took care of my diabetic cat on short notice and put me at ease right away with pictures and updates throughout. She is super conscientious, responsible and professional - immediate response times and so kind to the kitty! I would highly recommend and def will request her help again!!

I will care for your pet at your home and keep them safe in different ways depending on the situation. If you do not have a fenced yard, I will take your pet out on a leash always! If you do have a fenced yard, I will let your pet into your yard and supervise them the entire time they are outside. I will send pictures of your pet every time I see them, along with an update! I promise to handle your pet gently with care, love, and safety. I also have a car and no problem with driving your pet to any appointments they need! I promise to keep your house clean and leave it better than I found it!

Let me know if your dog has any aggressive tendencies beforehand. I will not judge you, or refuse to take care of your dog, but I will be able to better handle them knowing all of their "flaws" in advance.
A typical day
Due to lots of experience and research, I am able to stimulate your dog mentally and physically. I can take your dog on walks or hikes, play games with them, try to teach them new tricks, and even just cuddle on the couch with them.
