Happy to negotiate all rates!* I am a dog and cat mom, foster, and true lover of all animals (ask me how this city girl had a pet pig once upon a time! 😉) In addition to being trained and certified as a volunteer at the Philadelphia animal shelters and having completed a dog-training course through PETCO, we have been dog-sitting for over a decade and love having our home full of doggie love, and have even come to love the doggie fur. I am home full-time and am available to give your baby lots of love and attention while you go about your day! Additionally, I live a few blocks from the park and we have a large (for the city) private yard, so regardless of whether dog parks are appropriate for your pup, be assured that they will get lots of exercise and outdoor time. (We can also offer 5 mile daily runs for dogs with extra energy!) I have also been a foster parent for dogs, puppies, cats and kittens for over 15 years. The more fur, the merrier! I also have professional experience as a paid-dog walker and working in a doggie boarding/day care program. I would love to run, walk, play with your fur baby! When seasonally appropriate, we also offer adventure days, where we go to the dog beach or climb a mountain, and other outdoor adventures! As a dog mom myself, I know how important it is to find dog sitters that you trust and know that your dog is in good hands. With all of the updates and pics (so appreciated!), my puppy is having the best time with Emily and her own dogs! Juno is clearly being so well-cared for while I’m gone for over 12 hrs for work. By the end of the day Juno is wiped :) I’m so glad I found Emily thru Rover and I’ll continue to have her watch my pup for as long as she offers her services.

Emily is the absolute best! It’s an incredibly comforting feeling to be out of town and know that our animals are being taken care of as well as if we were there! Emily is also really knowledgeable about pet care and training and ended up suggesting a product that helped my pup stop chewing at her leg. A typical day
Your dog will always have several walks throughout the neighborhood. We have a large-for-the-city fenced in yard for off-leash play. We also like to do adventure days where we do things like go to the dog beach or on a hike. Smell-work and other type of indoor activities can provide great low-key stimulation for your dog, so we also play with puppy puzzles and some of the dozens and dozens of toys!

Availability
I am home full time to provide full time care for your pup. We work each day based on your needs, but every dog will get play-time inside, several walks, and play-time outside, along with the all important rest and decompression inside our home as if they lived here, too!
