I’ve taken care of dogs since I was 10, first with my dog Sadie who was a pit bull boxer mix. When she passed away we got a lab puppy who I starting at 4 weeks old! I recently got a golden retriever/ English setter mix who I trained and have taken care of for the past year!

Hey there, I have known Emily for many years, and she has always been an amazing and loving dog owner/sitter. Her family dog loves her and she spoils him so much with attention and pets. He loves his belly rubs and she loves giving them. I also have been around her with her own dog whom she calls “her child” and she truly treats her like one. She has had her trained and continues to care for her each day. I’ve even seen her dog sit for her friends and family as well and each dog she’s with instantly seems to attach to her. She has this aura around her that dogs seem to love and she returns the favor with love, care, and affection. I believe she is the perfect candidate to help others with dog sitting/walking because she the most loving and fun person I know. Plus she loves walking dogs so that’s a huge bonus!

I have a fenced in back yard, with a walking trail near by! I also have a salt water pool that pups are allowed to swim in during hot summer days. I have my current dog is very friendly and loves playing with any dog big or small!

A typical day
I have finding fun ways to work dogs mentally and physically! I love taking dogs to dog parks or even on a nice hiking trail! If the dog doesn’t get along with other dogs, I’m more than happy to take them on a nice long walk without other dogs. I also love making enrichment treats or toys! Sniff Mats, dog puzzles and more! I also have a dog friendly pool for pups who love to swim!

Availability
I’m currently working for rover part time. However I am very flexible and can visit pups anytime after 10am until 7pm Monday- Sunday! If I need to see them past 7pm for evening walks or potty walks, I can also do that! I’d just need to know in advance!
