Pet care experience
I'm a 5 year rover sitter/walker, 15 year pet sitter, and lifelong dog and cat owner! I moved to Fort Collins with my partner, dog and cat to start my career and to pursue adventure. And we haven’t looked back! There are so many opportunities to explore! We take our dog everywhere- hiking, swimming at horsetooth, breweries, and for daily walks/runs/bikes along the poudre trail. I grew up with at least 2 dogs running around the house and have pet sat for as long as I can remember. I have experience with large, medium and small dogs, old dogs and puppies, busy dogs, slow dogs, dogs with separation anxiety, rescue dogs, foster dogs, dogs recovering from surgery, dogs with strict dietary needs and medication regimens, and many types of cats, hamsters, bunnies, and frogs. I frequently google dogs and dog videos, and cannot wait to use Rover to help busy pet owners have peace of mind and help me get my animal fix without adopting too many more. When you bring your pet to me, he/she she will be quickly welcomed with family like love and attention.

I have a fenced in yard that backs up to a farm field, plenty of safe space to play. We walk our dog multiple times a day around our neighborhood or up in Lory/Horsetooth, and on bigger hikes in the mountains on weekends.

Any and all information that will allow me to make the dog feel most at home. Normal exercise routine, food schedule, any medications, favorite toys/scratches/games, fears, training techniques, and general behavior around other dogs if we are boarding at my house!
A typical day
I advocate for 3+, 30 minute dog walks per day catered personally to the needs/wants of each dog. I can take 1-3 dogs at a time, run/walk/let them smell the flowers on or off leash. I use the “Walk for a Dog” app, so every mile we walk helps fund local dog shelters. It is my goal to creatively cater to your dogs exercise and social needs and return them a happy, snuggly, and relaxed pup.

Availability
I work M-Th 8-4pm and my partner works T-Th 9-4pm, and comes home over lunch to play with our dog :) when we are boarding, no animal will be alone more than 4hrs at any given time. They truly are part of the family!
